The deployment of CO2 capture and storage (CCS) negative emissions technologies (NETs) are crucial to meeting the net-zero target by year 2050, as emphasised Glasgow Climate Pact. Over years, several energy planning models have been developed address temporal aspects carbon management. However, limited works incorporated CCS NETs for bottom-up at individual plant scale, which is considered in this work. novel formulation implemented an open-source system software that has work optimal decarbonisation planning. DECarbonation Options Optimisation (DECO2) considers multiperiod with a superstructural model was Python integrated user interface Microsoft Excel. application demonstrated two scenarios differ terms availabilities mitigation technologies.
